Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the use of the Purple Saturday website and platform operated by the Authority of Persons with Disabilities (the “Authority”). They apply to content pages, registration forms, offers, resources, and any related digital services.

By accessing or using the website, the user agrees to these terms and any later updates published on the website. If the user does not agree to any provision, the user should stop using the website and related services.

Scope of Service

The website introduces the Purple Saturday initiative, enables participating entities to register, and displays information related to the initiative, offers, workshops, media content, and awareness resources.

The Authority may update, add, hide, or modify pages, services, or components according to the initiative scope and launch requirements without guaranteeing that every service or content item will remain available in the same form.

Eligibility and Registration

Visitors may browse public content. Certain services, such as entity registration or request management, may require creating an account or providing specific data to the Authority.

The user or representative of a participating entity confirms that they are authorized to submit requests and information on behalf of the entity they represent, and that all submitted data and attachments are accurate, complete, and up to date.

Account Data and User Responsibility

  • The user must keep login credentials confidential and must not share them with others.
  • The user is responsible for activity conducted through their account unless unauthorized use beyond their control is proven.
  • The Authority should be notified immediately when unauthorized access or unlawful account use is suspected.
  • The Authority may suspend or disable an account or request when inaccurate data, misuse, or attempted abuse is identified.

Participating Entity Requests

Participation requests are subject to review, acceptance, or rejection according to initiative criteria and the Authority’s approved procedures. Submitting a request, saving it as a draft, or confirming the email address does not constitute final acceptance unless the entity receives an acceptance notice.

The participating entity must provide clear details for the offer, initiative, or sponsorship, including redemption method, offer duration, covered cities or channels, special conditions, and eligibility verification method when needed.

Offers and Published Content

The platform displays offer and participant information for awareness and facilitation purposes. The provider of each offer is responsible for the accuracy of offer details and for fulfilling the published and approved terms.

The platform does not replace store or service-provider terms at checkout or redemption. Beneficiaries should read offer details and related conditions before using an offer.

User and Participant Obligations

  • Use the website and services lawfully, respectfully, and in line with applicable rules and instructions.
  • Do not submit misleading, inaccurate, or rights-infringing information.
  • Do not upload harmful, prohibited, or non-compliant files.
  • Respect the privacy of persons with disabilities and avoid sharing their data, images, or experiences in a way that violates rules or affects dignity and privacy.
  • Keep offer terms clear, usable, and accessible as much as possible.

Prohibited Use

The website may not be used for unlawful activity or activity that harms the Authority, users, or participants. This includes, without limitation, attempting to breach the website, disrupting the service, abusing forms, sending spam, collecting user data without authorization, or publishing abusive, misleading, or unlawful content.

Intellectual Property

All rights related to the website, its content, design, logos, text, and media materials are reserved by the Authority or their respective owners unless stated otherwise. No part of the content may be copied, republished, or exploited for commercial purposes without prior approval from the rights owner.

Participating entities confirm that they have the right to use logos, images, and materials submitted to the platform, and grant the Authority the right to display them within initiative pages and related channels for initiative purposes.

External Links

The website may contain links to external websites or platforms not operated by the Authority. The Authority is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those websites. Users should review their policies before using them.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Authority takes reasonable care to provide clear and updated content. However, the website and services are provided as available. The Authority does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or availability of all services at all times.

The Authority is not responsible for damage resulting from improper website use, information submitted by users or participating entities, or transactions conducted outside the platform between a beneficiary and an offer provider.

Personal Data Protection

Collection, processing, storage, and sharing of personal data are governed by the Privacy Policy published on the website, which forms an integral part of these terms and conditions.

Changes to the Terms

The Authority may amend or update these terms and conditions at any time. Updates become effective when published on the website unless otherwise stated. Users are responsible for reviewing the terms periodically.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
