The Purple Saturday Award, presented by the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities, celebrates the organizations and individuals who advanced the goals of the Purple Saturday Initiative and turned participation into tangible impact for people with disabilities across the Kingdom.
The award highlights outstanding models in delivering offers, implementing activities and initiatives, and sharing Purple Saturday messages—strengthening a culture of inclusion and empowerment while encouraging every sector to create more accessible and sustainable experiences.
In 2026, winners were recognized across four tracks that reflect the diverse contributions behind the initiative’s success and growing reach. Meet the winners of the 2026 Purple Saturday Award.
This track recognizes outstanding commercial offers that delivered real value to people with disabilities and improved access to products and services during Purple Saturday.
Himam offered meaningful discounts for people with disabilities, making services easier to access and improving the beneficiary experience through Purple Saturday offers.
Panda offered discounts for people with disabilities through branches across the Kingdom, broadening the reach of Purple Saturday offers to more beneficiaries.
Al-Daya Bakery offered discounts through its branches and online store, making the offers easier to reach and use.
This track celebrates activations that embodied Purple Saturday’s goals through community engagement across digital and on-the-ground channels, spreading awareness and strengthening the participation of people with disabilities.
The University of Jouf activated Purple Saturday across the region through activities and experiences that raised awareness and strengthened concepts of empowerment and accessibility among students and the wider community.
Huraymila activated Purple Saturday through offers and field activities, alongside a gathering that connected organizations and sectors with people with disabilities and strengthened community participation throughout the governorate.
Alinma delivered impactful initiatives with associations serving people with disabilities and activated the campaign both physically and digitally, extending Purple Saturday’s reach to more beneficiaries.
This track recognizes nonprofit initiatives that served people with disabilities and expanded empowerment, participation, and access to services and opportunities.
Rouh activated Purple Saturday through a workshop on the role of organizations in empowering people with disabilities, bringing together public, private, nonprofit, health, and military organizations as well as business and hospitality leaders to encourage participation and advance inclusion.
The association delivered an integrated field activation featuring an interactive theater, awareness booths, productive families, retailers, and public and private organizations, along with discounts for people with disabilities.
Naseer combined awareness, field services, mobility support, and the registration of beneficiary needs while promoting volunteering and community partnerships and helping people with disabilities and older adults move through the Basr Summer Festival.
This track celebrates individual contributions that carried Purple Saturday’s message and raised awareness of the importance of empowering people with disabilities and supporting their participation in society.
